Meta
Meta points toward the ultimately ineffable top of the Total Nested Holarchy of a category — the eternal, universal, ultimate, self-referential, highest order, all encompassing, most transcendent level of an idea, where the category rejoins ØNE.
Two things must be held together about every Meta term:
The referent is ineffable. The Meta level of any concept or category lies beyond the Boundary of Knowing — beyond our Current Best Understanding, and further still beyond our Current Best Articulation (Essences, Renderings, And Ineffable Referents). This is why Meta terms are purposefully left abstract: to concretize them would be to commit the Pattern of Failure of Concretizing The Absolute — mistaking our rendering for the Reality and building an idol where a window was meant to be.
The conception is a rendering. When we say the Meta X is "the highest universal overarching and uniting X of Xs, that by definition contains within itself and orders all other possible Xs," we are describing our best conception — the finest fingerpost we can raise. The fingerpost is refined forever; what it points toward does not move.
For example, we could speak of:
The Meta Story: the highest universal overarching and uniting "Story of stories", that by definition contains within itself and orders all other possible stories.
The Meta Intention: the highest universal overarching and uniting "Intention of intentions", that by definition contains within itself and orders all other possible intentions.
The Meta Goal: the highest universal overarching and uniting "Goal of goals", that by definition contains within itself and orders all other possible goals.
The Meta Project: the highest universal overarching and uniting "project of projects", that by definition contains within itself and orders all other possible projects.
The Meta Game: the highest universal overarching and uniting "Game of games", that by definition contains within itself and orders all other possible games.
It is critical to note that by definition, the intention, object, or goal of the Meta Project or Meta Game could not be anything other than the Meta Goal.
This is because All are fundamentally and functionally unified by One Thing. Every Meta term is the top of its own holarchy — and every such top is the same summit approached up a different face of the same mountain. At the Meta level, all categories reunify: the Meta Story, the Meta Goal, the Meta Intention, the Meta Game are, ultimately, ØNE.
