Nature

Nature carries two meanings in one word, and both are load-bearing.

The Nature of a being is its essential character — what it most deeply is. The Universal Law is a reflection of the Nature, Mind, Intention, and Spirit of the ØNE; to live in harmony with that Law is to live in harmony with the perfect Nature of the Source (Logos). Every being likewise has a Nature — the Essence beneath its habits — and the Sacred Ascent is, in one telling, the progressive ReMembering of one's true Nature and living from it.

Nature as the living world is that Essence made visible: the forests, waters, creatures, and cycles of the Living System — the ØNE's character written in ecology. The two senses meet exactly there: the natural world is not scenery around the spiritual life but its oldest scripture — the place where the patterns of the Creator's Nature can be read directly (Biomimicry · Golden Thread). What the Old World treated as raw material, the New World receives as kin and teacher, with its own voice in the councils that shape its fate.

To act according to nature, in the deepest sense, is therefore one act: conforming to one's own true Essence, and to the Living System's ways, and to the Nature of the ØNE — for these are one Nature, expressed at three scales (Holarchy).
