Process

A Process is ordered becoming — a sequence of actions or transformations that, executed, produces Throughput toward an aim.

In the deepest register, process is what Reality is made of: not static things but livings — flowing, exchanging, becoming (The Living Gradient). A "thing" is a slow process; a being is a process that maintains itself; Creation is the Meta-process, still running. To see the world as process is to see it truly.

In the delivery register, Process is a precise level of the work: the Program holds the whole; Projects deliver its parts; Processes are the repeatable sequences of commitments and actions inside them that actually produce Value (Goal Delivery System). Well-designed processes carry three marks: they flow without stoppage (Flow), they learn — every execution feeding improvement back into the design (Prototype Control), and they remain servants — the moment a process is followed for its own sake against its purpose, it has become the Old World's paperwork.

And there is The Process — the great one: the continuous improvement of the whole, the crossing FROM the Old TO the New, the Sacred Ascent of beings and civilizations. Every small process either serves it or obstructs it; that is the test of every procedure ever written.
