The Communication Platform

Where meaning and energy flow between the gatherings — the LIØNSBERG Server.

The Invitation promises: "Communications systems enable meaning and energy to flow, as shared sensemaking and discernment continually reveal the Way." This page holds the present form of that promise.

The LIØNSBERG Server — presently on Discord, being established this season; in time, to be replaced by our own. Discord is borrowed land: useful, familiar, immediate — and never the record of record. The Board and The Commons — plain text, in the open git record — remain the Game's memory; the Server is its living conversation.

The Shape (posited)

• Arrival — welcome, questions, and the standing Help Button: press it, and one of Us will find you.
• The Pulse — #turns: every Circle's weekly Turn (Template For Weekly Turn Post), where needs meet offers in the open.
• The Stories — harvests told as they happen; the finest tended into The Commons.
• The Commons Floor — needs and offers, coordination between Circles, shared sensemaking.
• The Workshop Bench — questions and improvements to the plans: perhaps you could help improve them.
• Circle Rooms & Inboxes — each Circle may take a room of its own, and every listed Circle receives an inbox: the public door where other Circles and Players leave word — inquiries, offers, invitations to collaborate — tended at the weekly gathering. The Board's directory points here.

The Membrane

The Server link travels through the doors — your inviter, the Substack, the orientations (Reaching Us) — by invitation, not broadcast. And platform-optional, always: everything essential can be done by email through Reaching Us. The Server makes the body livelier; it is never a gate.
