The 27-Chapter Draft — Archive Note

In July 2026, as the first players gathered and the Game began in real life, the 27-chapter draft of this volume was distilled into the thin rulebook that now lives at The Great Game of LIØNSBERG — rederived from the first players themselves, at Orientation Session 1, July 25, 2026.

The full 27-chapter draft is preserved in the steward's archive. Its material is not lost, only re-homed:

• The cosmic arc (Movements III–IV) lives in the Story and the deeper volumes, where it belongs.
• Chapters 9–14 and 17 — the Field of Agreements, Governance Without Rulers, the Living Economy, the Transformation of Culture, the Prototype, the Three Hundred, and the Ten Year Grand Strategy — remain ore for The LIØNSBERG Playbook and Plans and Specifications.
• The threshold pieces (0.1 Prologue, 0.2 The Opening Invocation) were recast in July 2026 as AURELLIØN's Prolegomenon at the head of AURELLIØN's Guide to LIØNSBERG, and the originals archived.
