The Great Game of LIØNSBERG

The participatory form: the Game played in real life, with real stakes, by every sovereign being who chooses to play.

This is the basic rulebook. Read it aloud, together, in one sitting. Then form a Circle, choose a Quest, and step into Play. Everything deeper waits for you when you are ready. The important thing is to simply begin.

The Game

After all the words and worlds we have travelled, there remains something so simple a child can hold it in her hands:

All of us, together, making every place we touch a little more like Heaven.

One move at a time. One Circle at a time. One Community at a time. One Quest at a time. One season at a time. Until the whole Earth blossoms aNew.

That is the simple yet profound Game: Co-Creating Heaven — right Here and Now. All things helping all things rise, with no one involuntarily left behind.

The Moment

Here aboard Earth at the transition between eras, we play in the narrowest and most consequential of moments: one world is dying, and another is being born. They are not two events but one. The collapse and the ascension share a single nexus, and we are alive inside it. We call this The Collapse-Ascension Nexus.

What is failing cannot be saved by repair, and what is arising cannot arrive by force. It arrives the way all living things arrive: seed by seed, Circle by Circle, season by season. That is why the Game exists, and why it begins now.

The Goal

ØNE. Creator's Intent. Heaven. Here, now, everywhere, for everyone, forever.

We already know what Heaven looks like. It is written on our hearts. Children fed, loved, laughing, and free. Elders honored. Rivers running clear. Soil bursting with life. Meaningful work and genuine belonging for every person. Strangers welcomed. Enemies reconciled. Wounds healed. Every creature enveloped in peace, love, and compassion. A five-year-old recognizes its essence instantly — she points to it every time she sees something hurting and asks "Can't we help?"

The Goal is an orientation, a direction, and a Way of being, always closer yet never finished. Like tending a garden, climbing the sacred mountain, or loving ØNE, One Another, and All more deeply each year. The Way is The Goal. The Goal is the Way. The Way and The Goal are ØNE.

Every move in the Game is measured by a simple question:

Does this make life a little more like Heaven?

If it does — make the move. If it does not — pause, turn, and choose a better one.

One Goal. One orientation. One direction. One question. At every scale.

The Players

Everyone who voluntarily chooses to play.

If you can love, you can play. If you can help, you can play. If you can make a commitment and keep a promise, you can play. Children play by kindness, by asking why, and by joyfully lending a helping hand. Elders play by carrying wisdom and tending the young. The strong play by building and protecting. The mending play by healing. Together we play by co-creating new culture and a new civilization through powerful words, actions, and stories.

The Game is for everyone, because everyone is needed, and in a loving society no one should be involuntarily left behind. The choice is open for every being, at any moment, in any condition, from any starting point. You are welcome. You are loved.

The Circles

The Game is played together. Its living unit is the Circle: three to thirteen souls who choose to see, serve, and build together as one body.

Each Circle is like a miniature Tree of Life springing up from the Golden Seed: the deeper the roots, the higher it can safely grow. So a Circle forms at the pace of trust:

  1. Gather the few you already trust — or who find each other through the Invitation.
  2. Take your time before you seal the Circle. Share your stories. Name your gifts, your strengths, and the places you are still growing. Learn who you are together before you decide what you will do together.
  3. Seal the Circle with a name, a few simple agreements, and the choice of your first Quest. Show up, speak truly, hold what is shared, keep the flame and the work alive between gatherings.

A Circle that knows and trusts itself can bear great weather. That inner stability is what lets the Spirit's impulses land, and what makes everything that follows possible.

The Quests

A Circle without a Quest is a conversation. A Circle with a Quest is a living, active, and powerful force of embodied co-creation.

A Quest is a tangible mission of goodwill, chosen together and accomplished together within a single season — something that makes life measurably more like Heaven in one specific place. Feed the families on your street. Clean the stretch of river. Plant the garden. Teach the children. Mend the wounds. Build the platform. Host the gathering that knits the neighborhood back together.

A good Quest is four things at once:

  • Real — it actually transforms lives, land, or community.
  • Achievable — within reach of your Circle's hours, gifts, and season.
  • Meaningful — joined to needs you truly see and gifts you truly carry.
  • Together — it takes the whole Circle, not a heroic few.

Keep the first Quests humble as you are learning to play. The Quests grow as the Circle grows and matures. And no Quest is ever finished until it is told — for every completed Quest becomes a Story.

The Stories

Every Quest becomes a Story. And every Story becomes a Prophesy of even greater things to come as The Game grows.

When something real happens — a family fed, a river cleaned, a wound mended, a wrong made right — tell it: on the Board, in the Commons, around the table. A true story of a transformation in community carries more power than a thousand manifestos.

Stories are how the Game breathes. They inspire the next Players to step in. They attract time, energy, and resources toward what is working. They teach every Circle what to do next. And each one whispers the same prophesy: if this was possible here, imagine what is possible everywhere as The Game grows.

This is how the Game grows — through living proof, passed from hand to hand.

The Board

The Game is played on the Earth itself — in kitchens and gardens, rivers and neighborhoods, community centers and online gatherings. But the game needs to become visible to itself. So the Game keeps a shared Board in The Commons.

The Gameboard is the shared place where we gather and see, at a glance: Who We Are — the Players and the Circles. How We Are Questing — the Quests, the commitments, the Stories of what has been done. Where We Are Going — the season we are in, and the horizon we are moving toward. Why — the Goal, held always at the center.

The Vision stays in the middle of the Board, and it only grows — no one's dream is ever removed; we simply weave a bigger bouquet.

Every Circle tends its own path of the Sacred Garden. That is how a thousand sovereign Circles remain one Game.

The Superorganism

A thousand sovereign Circles are not a thousand little games. They are one Game — and more than a game: a single living being.

As Circles join into Circles of Circles — teams of teams, each sovereign and whole, each serving the Whole — something is born that none of us is alone: a Sovereign Superorganism. A single conscious body, composed of Us, operating a single system, producing measurable Throughput of a single Goal — at planetary scale, and beyond it.

This is one of the Game's great innovations, and it is the oldest pattern in creation: cells join into organs, organs into a body, and the body can do what no cell can dream. The old world coordinated by command from the top. The Superorganism coordinates the way a living body does — every cell sovereign, every cell sensing and serving the Whole. The weekly Turn is its heartbeat. The Board is its nervous system. The Stories are its bloodstream, carrying nourishment and news to every part. The New Earth operating system is its physiology. And all domains move together — one integrated body of work, one program of delivery, one Goal.

Care for it. Nurture it. Protect it. It is young, and it is learning to play.

The Basic Moves

The Game has five basic moves. A child can learn them in five minutes; a lifetime is not enough to master them.

(Before the first move there is the move you have already made: waking up — seeing the world as it truly is, the beauty and the suffering and what could be, and refusing to look away.)

One — Form a Circle. Gather three to thirteen souls, at the pace of trust. Seal the Circle with a name, simple agreements, and a first Quest.

Two — Choose a Quest. Together, choose one tangible act of goodwill for the season ahead — real, achievable, meaningful, and shared.

Three — Learn and Grow. Do the work, week by week. Say what you will do; do what you said; learn from the difference — the oldest discipline in the world, and the place where trust is built. And at the season's harvest, ask together: What worked? What must we keep doing? What did not work? What would we like to do even better in the next season? The gap between where we are and Heaven is not a shame but a gift — it is the universal field of play.

Four — Share Your Stories. Harvest each Quest into a Story, and tell it where others can find it — on the Board, in the Commons, around the table, online.

Five — Pass The Flame. When your Circle has found its rhythm — roots holding, commitments kept — each member names the two or three people they know who are ready, and shares The Invitation, hand to hand. Those who resonate form their own sovereign Circle, adapted to their own place and gifts. The flame passes at the pace of trust, never faster — and it always passes. The fruit of the tree carries the seed.

Then the wheel turns, and the moves begin again — a new Quest, a deeper Circle, a wider Game.

The Turns

Each week is a turn. Gather, check in, monitor the commitments, plan the Wise Right Next Steps, harvest what you are learning, close in gratitude. An hour or two, every week, same time.

Then take your Turn on the Board: a few lines from your Circle to the Whole — what we did, what we will do, what we learned, what we need, what we offer, and an update to your "green, yellow, red" status. Articulating the Turn is not paperwork; it is the heartbeat of the Superorganism — the pulse by which one body of ten thousand Circles knows itself, senses what is needed, and moves as one.

Each season is a round. Every ninety days, at the solstice or equinox, the wheel turns — one Quest completed and told, a new Quest chosen. And whatever the calendar says, every round carries its own four seasons within it:

  • Plant. At the turning, choose the new Quest. Begin.
  • Grow. The work deepens, week by week. The Circle is tested and strengthened.
  • Harvest. As the next turning nears, gather the fruits. Tell the Story. Celebrate, and return the learnings to the Whole.
  • Rest. Pause. Remember why you play. Renew your commitment — or release it with grace.

The turnings are planetary — the same solstice and equinox arrive for every sky on Earth in the same breath. The seasons wear opposite faces in the north and the south, and so the Body breathes in counter-phase: while half of us plant, half harvest. There is always a harvest ripening somewhere, always a planting beginning somewhere. The Game never sleeps.

At each turning comes the seasonal OmniSpection — the Circle sees from above: What did we set out to do? What actually happened? What did we learn? What is ours to do next? Then a new Quest, and the wheel turns again.

And the Game's clock runs at two speeds at once: this week's turn, and the ten thousand generations to come. Every move is small enough to make this week — and every move echoes across the whole arc of our interexistence, through civilizations that rise and fall and rise again. We play as the elders teach, holding the sweetgrass braid: those who came before, those here now, those yet to come — three strands woven into one strong cord.

Play with urgency; rest with intention. The Earth itself is your timekeeper.

How We Win

As fellow members of a single living system, we win together, or not at all. Not my family at the expense of yours; not my neighborhood, community, or nation at the expense of yours. None of us, until All of us. This is the structure of interexistent Reality itself.

This generation faces what the Story calls The Final Test — whether a species that learned to split the atom can learn to love and keep promises to its neighbor. The Test is not passed by heroes. It is passed the way every test of love is passed: together, one made and kept commitment at a time.

The victory is not waiting at the end, for later in The Game we discover that space and time are relative illusions, and that all we ever have is Nøw. We are winning in every moment with every move, just by playing The Game. Every commitment kept is a victory. Every hungry person fed. Every relationship mended. Every tree planted. Every piece of trash removed. Every child who learns they are loved in a world that can be trusted. Every Story on the Board is living proof that Heaven is possible here and now.

The Game keeps score in five currencies, all visible on the Board: the Time, Energy, and Attention (TEA) invested, the Commitments kept, the Value created, the Stories shared, and the Flames passed. Heaven is not a place we arrive; it is a state of being we co-create and continuously improve, moment by moment, move by move, until the whole Earth blossoms aNew.

Begin

Your first move is the smallest in the world, and the most powerful: tell someone.

One person. Or two. Or three. The ones whose eyes light up when someone finally names what they have always known. Share the Invitation. Sit together. Begin the weekly gatherings.

Do not wait until you understand it all, or feel ready, or the conditions are right. The conditions are always right for love, for helping, for keeping a commitment that makes the world a better place.

Grow like a tree, at the pace of trust: roots first, then trunk, then branches — so that when the season of blossoming comes, the tree can bear it. One Circle becomes two; two become five; five become thirteen. Through flame passed hand to hand, through lived proof that cannot be argued with — a garden planted one seed at a time, tended one season at a time, until it becomes a single superorganism covering the Earth.

You are holding the Seed. The Game is alive. The world awaits your move.

It is time to begin.

Where the Game Leads

The Game deepens without end. As Circles mature they federate into Assemblies and Communities; Communities into Ecoregions and Bioregions; Bioregions into a planetary body co-creating Heaven On Earth — and the Game goes on, beyond this age and this world, as the Eternal Divine Play. That whole arc is told in the Story and mapped in the deeper volumes; it becomes yours to explore one season at a time.

The Game is also how the New Earth operating system is installed. Not adopted by decree, not downloaded from above — installed the only way an operating system for living beings can be: practiced into place, Circle by Circle, community by community, until one day we notice that the new systems are simply how things work. In this Way, each Circle becomes a living cell and microcosm of an entirely New Civilization.

For today, everything you need is here:

Read the Story. Play the Game. Pass the Flame.
