Group Card Template

Copy this file to stand a Group: The Commons/Groups/<Group Name>.md. A Group is an aggregation beyond the Circle's three-to-thirteen — a network, council, guild, tribe, or voluntary association, weaving across Circles and places.

# <Group Name>
kind:: <network | council | guild | tribe | association>
reach:: <where it weaves — a region, or across the Earth>
formed:: <when it stood>
purpose:: <the one-sentence why>
open:: <yes, if welcoming new members>
members:: <the Players and Circles who belong — [[Player]] · [[Circle]] · …>

Two formatting laws for cards: leave a blank line after every field:: line — without it, the fields run together as one paragraph on the rendered page — and write every member, circle, and group as a [[wikilink]], so all the cards interlink and the whole Commons becomes internavigable.

The mutual-consent mechanic: membership is real when it is written on both cards — the Group lists the member, and the member's own card lists the Group (groups:: [[Group Name]]). Written on one side only, it is a hand extended, awaiting the clasp. Either side may withdraw its line at any time — Ongoing Mutual Consent, in plain text.

To stand a Group, or join one: send word through any door on Reaching Us — the stewards tend both cards.
