Light

Light is what reveals — the illuminating presence by which anything is seen, known, or found.

In its deepest register, Light is paired with the Logos: the Progressive Realization of the Light is the progressive illumination of Reality's true Pattern, and to walk toward Truth is to walk toward Light. Its opposite, Darkness, is not a rival power but a privation — the absence of illumination — which is why darkness cannot remain where Light is present, only flee it (Inbreaking And Displacing).

Three teachings carry its practice:

Walk by the Light you have. No one is given the whole path illuminated. The available Light reveals the next stepping stone; taking that step brings the next into view. Waiting for full illumination before moving is a way of standing still — one tiny step toward the Light, taken amid chaos, is how every crossing actually begins.

Carry Light inward. There is a Light within stronger than the surrounding darkness — the Spirit's presence in a being — and cultivation strengthens it until the being becomes a bearer: someone whose arrival makes a room more visible to itself (Frequency).

Emerging into Light is blinding at first. The one who leaves the Caves cannot see clearly right away (Day 8 - Out of The Caves and Into the Blinding Light); disorientation on first illumination is not error but adjustment. Patience with new seers — and with one's own newly-seeing self — is part of the craft.

Light multiplies by being given: a flame loses nothing by lighting another (Pass The Flame).
