Fury
Fury is the reading that a violation has exceeded the banks — anger at flood. Felt Sense. Flood heat. The whole body commandeered: heart pounding, vision tunneled, voice not one's own, time strange. Thought narrows to a single vector. The current is no longer running through the instrument; it is running the instrument. What It Signals. Fury reports a violation read as total — something sacred crossed, someone loved endangered, a line held for years finally shattered. It is the Anger band at emergency amplitude: the Living System concluding that ordinary force will not suffice. Sometimes the reading is accurate. Often it is an old wound detonating under a present spark — the flood carries more than this river. Its Gradient. The band's far edge: Annoyance → Irritation → Frustration → Anger → Fury. Beyond it lies only rage without a reader. Its Gift. Emergency strength — the reserve that lifts the car off the child, ends the abuse today, says the unsayable no. Fury exists because some violations genuinely warrant everything. Its Distortion. Acting at flood. A seized instrument cannot aim: fury discharged in the moment strikes the nearest target, not the true one, and manufactures new violations to answer for. Enthroned across time, it becomes a life organized around detonation — feared, and slowly abandoned. The Move. One rule above all: outside true emergency — the child under the car, the abuse ending today — never act at flood. Contain, don't suppress — leave the room, move the body hard, let the crest pass; the wave always passes. Then, with the instrument returned, read what the flood was carrying and answer the true violation with Anger's precision, in daylight, as a Sovereign.
