Anger

Anger is the reading that something precious is being violated or blocked. Felt Sense. Heat rising. The jaw sets, the chest expands, blood moves to the hands; the body straightens and turns toward — energy gathering to push back, break through, set right. Where fear contracts, anger mobilizes. What It Signals. Anger reports a crossing: a Boundary breached, a value trampled, life obstructed, someone or something we love being harmed. It is the energy of Justice arriving as feeling — the Living System's way of saying this must not stand. Its presence is evidence of care: we burn only where something matters. Its Gradient. One band of heat: AnnoyanceIrritationFrustration → Anger → Fury. Slow-cooked, it becomes Resentment; curdled into verdicts on beings, it turns toward Contempt, Disgust, Hate. Its Gift. Strength and clarity in the same instant: the energy to protect what is precious, and a precise pointer to which boundary or value was crossed. Read well, anger is a map of what we stand for. Its Distortion. Enthroned, it becomes aggression — the fire turned on beings instead of harms. Refused, it becomes the false peace of anger swallowed: compliance on the surface, Resentment fermenting beneath. Both dam the flow; neither restores what was crossed. The Move. Feel the heat without discharging it. Read it: what precious thing was violated? What boundary needs restating? Then act as a Sovereign: name the crossing plainly, repair or defend what needs it, and let the fire spend itself in Right Relationship rather than against a person.
