Describe

To Describe is to render — to use words, images, metaphors, numbers, or gestures to attempt to convey what something is like. Description is the bridge between private perception and shared Understanding: the moment an encounter with the world becomes communicable to another.

Every description is a rendering, never the thing itself. Our renderings of any object are more or less faithful depending on our Mastery of that thing — the deeper the lived contact, the truer the description. This is why the same reality can be described at many depths, and why descriptions must be held humbly and continuously refined as Mastery grows.

Description begins the process of Differentiation and Categorization through which each being's Map of Reality comes into being.
