The Decision Log

The Game's record of decisions as they are made — so nothing is re-litigated without new understanding, and anyone can always ask why.

A decision unrecorded will be re-litigated. So the Game keeps this log: one line per decision, dated, with the why. Held as current best understanding — a logged decision can be reopened, but only forward: with new understanding, through Reaching Us or the Workshop, never by forgetting. Every Circle and body is invited to keep its own decision log the same way (templates in the Toolkit's Forge).

The Log

• 2026-07-28 — The Great Game distilled from the 27-chapter draft to the thin rulebook; five basic moves. Why: rederived from the first players; only the rulebook teaches the Game — everything else points.
• 2026-07-28 — The compass reads "Does this make life a little more like Heaven?" Why: define by what we move toward.
• 2026-07-28 — The LIØNSBERG Workshop separates the cohered path from the construction site, honestly marked. Why: travelers must know when they stand on scaffolding.
• 2026-07-28 — Tools are universal — one tool, every scale — never per-scale copies. Why: holofractal design.
• 2026-07-28 — The Seed is free forever; playing together is nourished by The Pledge and the commons. Why: no dues to receive the gift; reciprocity is the metabolism of a living body.
• 2026-07-28 — License: CC BY-SA (share-alike). Why: what is given freely stays free downstream.
• 2026-07-28 — flame:: (who first passed it — written once, never changed) is distinct from sponsor:: (living, bounded to the first season, shiftable by either party without stigma). Why: the lineage is history, perhaps the Game's most important metric; the mentorship is companionship — and the guardrails carry the memory of other houses' abuses.
• 2026-07-28 — Players stand openly, by name; quiet play is the honored exception, never the default. Why: standing together is how the Game becomes visible to All.
• 2026-07-29 — One Gameboard, cosmic night skin, at lionsberg.wiki/gameboard. Why: the campfire under the stars — drama for the Story, clarity for the grandmothers.
• 2026-07-29 — The turnings are planetary; the seasons are local; the Body breathes in counter-phase. Why: one shared clock for every sky on Earth.
• 2026-07-29 — Update the Board is the one weekly door; the Turn is five lines plus commitments-kept. Why: one habit to remember; the superorganism sees itself.
• 2026-07-29 — Standing names are witnessed, not credentialed; duplicates take the village solution (John Smith (Boise)); verification travels the flame line. Why: everyone arrived through someone, and someone will vouch.
• 2026-07-29 — Submission channels travel through the membrane — pledge and update links arrive by email and the Server, never posted raw on the open wiki. Why: bots cannot walk through doors held by humans; the membrane protects without captchas.
